What a great excuse to come back to campus! Join us for Homecoming Weekend, September 19-21, to reunite with old friends, show your Bombers pride, and see Ithaca's beautiful campus at its best.
On Friday evening, you’ll want to join us at the welcome home happy hour, hosted by the current senior class. You'll have a chance to mingle with fellow alumni as well as members of the class of '09. Then get revved up at the pep rally and bonfire for the big game on Saturday.
On Saturday afternoon, take in the rich early-fall foliage from Butterfield Stadium while cheering on the Bombers football team as it takes on the Hartwick Hawks. During halftime, the newest alumni, the class of 2008, will take part in the traditional dedication of the class gift. In addition, there will be a halftime ceremony honoring the 1988 National Championship football team in recognition of the 20th anniversary of this exceptional accomplishment. And don't forget to stop by the alumni tent for fun and prizes. You may head home with new gear from Eastern Mountain Sports, super-cool stuff from the Ithaca College Bookstore, even a new mountain bike!
On Saturday evening, we'll honor our exceptional athletic alumni and friends at the athletic hall of fame induction ceremony. Leslie Greene Block '98, Linda L. Buettner, Jo A. Burruby '84, John F. Gemmell '98, Walter J. Judd '56, Edward T. Mahoney '95, John Sacchi '66, and Sandra Van Benschoten.
RSVP at www.icalumni.net/homecoming2008 for any of the Homecoming activities. By registering online you will automatically be entered to win a warm and classy Ithaca College fleece jacket.
We're excited about having alumni and friends back on campus for Homecoming weekend, because we know there's no better place than Ithaca to spend an early fall weekend. We hope you’ll join us!
