Come hear the latest news (and some wonderful music) at an elegant reception with President Tom Rochon and John Krout, professor of gerontology and director of the Gerontology Institute.
From new buildings and new majors to a whole new way of learning, it's all going on now at IC. In fact, why not let the president tell you all about it himself? Check out these videos: www.ithaca.edu/ontheroad/metrony.
Thursday, November 5 6:00-8:00 p.m. Le Parker Meridien New York 119 West 56th Street, 3rd Floor New York, New York
Professor Krout will speak about creativity and aging -- how creative pursuits, especially the arts, can enhance the lives of older adults. He'll focus on IC's Enduring Masters concert series and the Linden Center for Creativity and Aging.
And to put theory into practice, musicians from different generations will perform together, among them Skip Muller '51; Steve Brown '64, M.M. '68; and Tom Bronzetti '07!
We are pleased to waive the fee for this event. (And we'll be refunding the fee for those who registered in advance.)
