The China Conservatory, located in Beijing, was established in 1964. With nine official departments of study, it is one of the most highly ranked learning institutions in China. Characterized by furthering the education and study of Chinese music, the conservatory specializes in professionally training students in the areas of music creation, execution, and performance. For more than 40 years the China Conservatory has not only consolidated its leading position in preserving and developing Chinese music, but it has also become a bridge between China and the outside world.
To further the development of international exchange and experiences, Ithaca College and the China Conservatory look forward to strengthening our partnership in the future through the continued creation of exchange and performance opportunities.
